Something New Is Growing…

If you've stopped by Rawberrybugs today, you may have noticed something is a little different.

Okay…

A lot different.

There's a forest where the website used to be.

Don't worry. You haven't taken a wrong turn.

Rawberrybugs is growing.

When I first created this little corner of the internet, I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted it to be.

And then, as usually happens around here, one idea became another.

One story became several.

New characters appeared. New projects started. New worlds began taking shape.

And somewhere along the way, I realized Rawberrybugs had simply outgrown its home.

So we're building a new one.

Something rather magical is happening behind those trees…

Over the next few weeks, Rawberrybugs is going through a complete transformation.

I'm not going to show you everything yet—because where would the fun be in that?

But when the doors reopen, this will be much more than a place to find my books.

It will be somewhere you can wander.

Somewhere each story can have a world of its own.

Somewhere familiar little faces can still be found, while entirely new places wait to be discovered.

And somewhere that can continue growing right alongside Rawberrybugs.

For now, most of the website has disappeared behind the trees while construction is underway.

But I couldn't shut everything down.

There are still stories to be told, after all.

So Tales From the Compost Pile will remain open, and I'll continue popping in here with updates, news and probably a little bit of the chaos happening behind the scenes.

We'll be back in just a few weeks, with the new Rawberrybugs in full swing.

But you won't have to wait that long for something new. ❤️

Because Tuesday is a rather important day around here.

The Haven: The East officially arrives September 15, 2026, in paperback and eBook.

And two days later, on September 17, the hardcover joins them.

I'm resisting the urge to tell you too much about this one.

Some stories are better discovered by turning the pages yourself.

But I will give you something.

Before Tuesday, a surprise will appear along the path here at Rawberrybugs.

Somewhere in that forest, you'll find your way to a special place I've been creating—a place where you can step inside and catch your first glimpse into the world of The Haven.

No spoilers.

No giving everything away.

Just a little peek through the pages before the book arrives.

You may have to look for it. 😉

So for now…

Follow the little wooden sign if you'd like to visit me here at the Compost Pile.

Keep an eye on that forest.

And if you happen to notice something new lying along the path over the next few days…

Actually, quite a few things are.
